What happened to the official Facebook-account? It seems to have disappeared.

It's part of the drama of the ages, all will be revealed in time...

Ummm... It's still there. Are you sure you were going to the "Official" one?

Yes, because it not only disappeared from my profile (I joined as a "fan" on facebook), but the link on the sm.com-frontpage also wasn't working anymore. At the moment, I can't try because I'm online with my phone, where the whole frontpage isn't working anyway.

But when I use your link, I'm only getting redirected to my own startpage... which is the same behaviour I noticed earlier today.

I hadn't thought about it, but I've read this conversation and clicked on the link Adam gave and it worked just fine for me. Hope it works for you later on.

Very strange, still the same... Even if I search for Saviour Machine on facebook, I only get one (fitting) result, a fan group managed by a guy called Nick Pellizzeri.

But I definitely could see it before, as I said I even joined as a fan, on my page was listed "is a fan of Saviour Machine", etc., etc. Now that is gone.

Could it have something to do with international regulations? Maybe facebook changed something and now you cannot access some pages from facebook Germany? But I still can see other US-bands, and they are still listed in my profile...

Maybe someone else from Germany or Europe can try it?

EDIT: It's very funny, when I search on google, I can even see the page, but only in the cache of google! And even if I use one link on that cached page (like "info" for example), I get redirected to the "home"-page of facebook.´ :?

I just clicked the link Adam provided and it took me right to the page.

I'm thinking it may have something to do with them being overseas.

I'm just north of the border and I can't access it either, the link takes me to my wall

Very strange indeed. How about this: Try the Beyond the Charts' Fan Page and see what happens.

I'm not sure, since I don't use facebook too often. But when I look at the cached google page, I see that you added a lot of clips from "Live in Deutschland 2002", and I'm sure I never saw those. Normally, after I log in, I see all the new posts from my friends and the bands, so I'm pretty sure, it stopped working before you posted the live clips. But I didn't notice it then, I just thought you weren't posting any news. I also never saw the extended members list, the last time I was on the page, it listed only the last line-up, if I remember correctly.

It works.

I adjusted some settings, though I don't think it would have done anything but try it again and see if it works.

No, still the same, redirecting to the startpage.

Could it be some privacy settings? Because I know that facebook was updating a lot of these settings lately, at least the German version changed a lot.

Maybe in some way, the Saviour Machine page is "visible" to only selected groups of people, for example "people in your network"? For example, I remember that I was automatically part of the network "Germany", when I joined facebook. But that has disappeared as well, at least I can't find any information like that anymore in my account.
